Teacher (3yrs) Full Time
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of a child care teacher include the following:
- Monitor children while under care
- Ensuring that the daycare center is kept clean
- Distribute food and snacks to children
- Administer first aid to children at the occurrence of any injury
- Update parents on children’s behavior particularly if there is any change
- Designs crafts projects and other creative activities for children play
- Monitors interactions between children to ensure there is no fight or dispute among them
- Arrange and oversees rest times or sleep times
- Oversee recess as they play outside
- Balance your teaching between logical and social exercises
- Observe children’s interaction and the spirit of concord
Teacher (4yrs) Full Time
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms
- Provide basic needs for children
- Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
- Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals
- Track childrens’ progress and report to parents
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom
- Help children reach developmental milestones
- Collaborate with others to implement lesson plans
- Encourage children to interact with each other to develop social skills
- Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times
- Maintain inventory system for classroom materials and supplies
- Facilitate various activities for children including songs, games and storytelling
- Adhere to health/safety and sanitation procedures
Teacher (5-6 yrs) Full time
Duties and Responsibilities

Cook Full Time
Duties and Responsibilities
Cooks at child care centers plan and prepare meals that meet proper nutritional requirements. Ensure that food is stored and handled properly, and that the kitchen and all its equipment are thoroughly sanitary. Keep logs to track cleaning duties and may also be responsible for purchasing food and keeping records of those accounts. Those who have staff working under them are responsible for making sure everyone understands their jobs and carries them out. The preschool cook's daily activities involve both menu development and the preparation of nutritious meals and snacks for all students. Menus are developed through collaboration with nutrition consultants; cooks must be able to provide substitute meals for children with special dietary requirements. These individuals are also responsible for maintaining cleanliness in both the kitchen and storage areas. Some items, such as ovens, pantries and refrigerators, need to be sanitized at regularly scheduled intervals.
